Helm chart #943
Comments
maybe it's after hastic rendering on https://github.com/chartwerk/grafana-chartwerk-app @ChipWolf would you provide use case of that chart and usage with hastic? |
So we are able to easily deploy Hastic server on Kubernetes @jonyrock |
@ChipWolf thank you we are talking about https://helm.sh/ I don't believe that we have big interest to support it. If we get a customer who wants this -- we will make it. |
The Helm chart would allow users to more easily deploy Restic. The entire Grafana/Prometheus ecosystem is available (and widely used) as officially maintained Helm charts. Supporting a set of Kubernetes manifests to deploy Restic and packaging it as a Helm chart compatible with the Grafana chart is relatively trivial & opens the doors further to the k8s community. I'm happy to contribute an initial version of the chart to this repo if the Restic developers would be happy to maintain it. Speaking for myself, the lack of any open-source uses of Restic on Kubernetes (that I can easily find) is the limiting factor for me using this in production. |
@ChipWolf we will try our best to assist you in case you mood to try to contribute some version. |
I have started making progress here, but I'm blocked by hastic/hastic-grafana-app#463 |
@jonyrock : I'm also interested in the helm chart for hastic. |
howdy, any progress on this? |
unfortunately none, the developers don't seem to be keen to support versions of grafana beyond v6 |
It'd be incredibly useful if hastic-server was available as a Helm chart
