Since there is a HTTP call involved, standard retry mechanisms should be added.

@tirumaraiselvan we're running into transient "webhook authentication request failed" errors—are there any plans to implement this?

@tirumaraiselvan Any update on this? This could be problematic on high load events or ddos attacks.
