Support Digest:SHA

Hi,

Digest::SHA1 and Digest::SHA2 .deb packages are not available in wheezy or recent versions of ubuntu. Digest::SHA2 is also regarded as deprecated:
http://search.cpan.org/~avar/Digest-SHA2-1.1.1/SHA2.pm

Changing to using Digest:SHA would give the desired functionality and the .deb package libdigest-sha-perl is in etch onwards and Ubuntu.

Hi John

Thanks, Digest::SHA actually breaks the previous interface, so it hasn't
gone into the package yet that and I'm time-poor at present..
In other words I'd need to do some internal modifications and run all the
tests etc.

This particular deficiency is noted on the sourceforge site, but I'll
comment here as well.
