i suspect it has something to do with the transform function on line 102 of the model.py file. but im not familiar with pythonhelper.cpp

yeah installing, CUDA version 9.0 from NVIDIA archived downloads seems to do the trick. afterwards you might get a Could not find 'cudnn64_7.dll' so you may need to manually install that; there is a simple guide here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/48698536/tensorflow-gpu-import-tensorflow-importerror-could-not-find-cudnn64-7-dll
