This page will get updated throughout the hackathon.
If you have questions about what makes for a quality submission, drop a note in this issue and the team will respond.
Priority should be given to updating or creating documentation around commonly asked or misunderstood topics. As an example, "Getting started on Helium" is a high-traffic topic. However a dozen pages explaining the intricacies of LoRaWAN spreading factors is probably too in the weeds for these docs.
Collaboration is encouraged! If multiple people decide to team up to tackle a big topic, it'll be better content and those collaborators should be rewarded! Don't hesitate to lend a hand in an existing PR.
Resources
Participants are encouraged to leverage the community for answers or clarifications. Further, the project is entirely open source. https://github.com/helium
Helium Community Discord
Get in and ask questions directly. The community is an endless resource of information.
The IoT and Mobile working groups are leaders in governance and technical change on the network.
Additionally keep an eye on the Events section for regular AMAs to support docs authors. https://discord.gg/helium
Award Requirement
All participants will be required to KYC with the Helium Foundation to recieve awards. KYC info will be collected at the conclusion of the hackathon.
