Would be nice if Segno could be used as Inkscape extension.
Maybe a subproject?

While it's technically possible to support Inkscape directly in Segno, it MUST be a subproject since it needs Inkscape's inkex.py which uses GPL: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~inkscape.dev/inkscape/trunk/view/head:/share/extensions/inkex.py

I don't want GPL code in the core package.
