I have freej2me (libretro) installed on both Retropie & EmuELEC. While English .jar games work properly, most Chinese .jar games simply cannot display the character.
After doing some research, I guess I need to set the default Java character encoding. I try to set environment variable JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS to '-Dfile.encoding=GBK', but the issue persists.
How can I make Chinese .jar games display character correctly? Any suggestions are appreciated.
