Using ASYNQ with other memory stores such as Echovault

I am wondering is it possible to work with memory stores other than Redis. I recently came across Echovault, an embedded application similar to Redis that works within a Go application. I wonder if it's possible to use it with Asynq. Or any other key value store as Redis is not open source any more.
