Directions on the map

Would be nice to have at least simple directions (i.e. a blue line on the map), 
and 
doesn't need to be interactive, so that one can print out a large map before 
venturing 
into the countryside.

After all, isn't that the whole point of maps?

(Meanwhile, I do understand the difficulty of it since the directions are not 
part of 
the map cache.)
