Home Assistant release with the issue:
0.94.1

Last working Home Assistant release (if known):
Previous release

Operating environment (Hass.io/Docker/Windows/etc.):
Hassio on Linux on esxi on an Intel Nuc

Component/platform:
Discovery: https://www.home-assistant.io/components/discovery/
Axis: https://www.home-assistant.io/components/axis/

Description of problem:
Ignore function of Discovery no longer works (at least for Axis). This is needed in combination with Doorbird which is "discovered" as if it were an Axis device.

Problem-relevant configuration.yaml entries and (fill out even if it seems unimportant):

discovery:
  ignore:
    - axis

Axis component now uses zeroconf module for discovery rather than discovery, and that does not have the ignore feature (i.e. it is not an accidental regression).

Can you explain a bit more about why its needed in combination with Doorbird. Is there a conflict?

Hey there @robbiet480, @Kane610, mind taking a look at this issue as its been labeled with a integration (zeroconf) you are listed as a codeowner for? Thanks!

Problem is that Doorbird devices are incorrectly recognised as being Axis (maybe due to mac range?) so I get the “new devices discovered” notification all the time...

I used to have the ignore on for Axis to mute these messages.

@tnagels I will add MAC vendor filtering to not trigger on Doorbird in the future. It will be a part of 0.95 release

@tnagels Doorbird uses a service type specific to Axis devices, that's why it gets identified
