Support for viomi.vacuum.v8 #76301
Comments
Hey there @rytilahti, @syssi, @starkillerOG, @bieniu, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration ( xiaomi_miio documentation |
In case somebody is on the edge of devoting his/hers time to code that, I put my $50 on this feature. Additionally, I can send my vacuum for testing code in Europe. |
@KrzysztofHajdamowicz so I have been working on making this a reality (see, e.g., rytilahti/python-miio#1495) but it will require still some work to pull it off, especially due to a limited set of test devices I have. So, if your offer for the cleaner is still open, I'd happily accept that as it would simplify the development enormously! |
Check your e-mail! :) |
The problem
Upstream library support viomi.vacuum.v8: https://github.com/rytilahti/python-miio/blob/master/miio/integrations/vacuum/viomi/viomivacuum.py since 0.5.11
Let's give a shot and abandon my ducktaped repository and include it in official one!
