Checklist

  • I have updated to the latest available Home Assistant version.
  • I have cleared the cache of my browser.
  • I have tried a different browser to see if it is related to my browser.

Describe the issue you are experiencing

When opening the interface via Safari or the companion app on iOS 15 (all beta versions) icons usually do not show (some occasionally do). Refreshing (pull down, fronted cache reset, etc.) does not help. Another iPad on iOS 14.7 still works. Also other browsers like chrome on iPad have the issue (same render engine). Seems to be related to iOS 15 beta. With the upcoming release of iOS 15, this could be an issue. It does not matter if the devices is on, off, has a color, the icons randomly appear at different states.

The issue is still there on iOS 15 RC

Hmmm.. when rotating the screen, it triggers a redraw and the icons appear. Switching to a different dashboard again there are random icons missing..rotating the screen from portrait to landscape or visa versa makes them appear again.. going back to a dashboard on which they appeared again after rotating..the are again missing randomly after switching between dashboards.

Final release still has the same issue.

Same on MacOS Big Sur and Monterey - it's actually an issue with Safari 15.

iOS15.1 / iPadOS15.1 beta seems to fix the issue, not sure if this also the case for Big Sur and Monterey.

I also have this issue. The only thing that works for me is to create new integrations and re-add them to the dashboard.
I think clicking on them makes them disappear, even with :

hide_icon: false
hide_on_click: false

Core Version: core-2021.12.6
supervisor-2021.12.2
Garbage Collection component 3.21
Garbage Collection Card 1.20.0
