Comments
Can you post your error log when you try to install please? |
i tryed it on RPI 3B, orange pi win plus and on the Rockpi4 always same result: apt-get install mali-fbdevReading package lists... Done |
mali-fbdev is a proprietary driver package. Its only availible for older kernels (pre-debian 10) and was never updated. (https://wiki.debian.org/MaliGraphics) | (https://github.com/linux-sunxi/sunxi-mali) You cannot (currently) use newer kernels with Primafrost(opensource driver), as opencl isnt availible yet for it. MESA is currently developing it, but it will take years to finish. If using Rockpi4, id recommend Armbian Focal. But basically any distro for it running the legacy 4.4.x kernel will work.
