Calling for final round of technical review

William CW Lau edited this page Aug 23, 2016 · 2 revisions

We are pleased to announce the technical bounty program for the HONG contract. We would love to invite Ethereum developers, hackers, and anyone else who is interested in Project HONG, to participate and learn more about the HONG Contract at the technical side.

Same as the previous bounty program (https://github.com/hongcoin/DO/wiki/Hong-Coin-Bounty-Scheme-ver-1.0), we value everyone’s participation and will reward participant who submits a valid bug report. What’s more, we are serious with security issues. If you can illustrate a success attack to our contract, we will issue you more bounty tokens!

The Rule

Starting from Release v0.5 (https://github.com/hongcoin/DO/releases), we will record all issues (missing functions, bug, strange behaviour, etc.) found in the GitHub Issues page. The first participant to report issue found in our contract will be rewarded.

Everyone should test with the latest release version so that the community can catch up on the same issue.

Types of report

  • Bug/ Missing feature: 500 HONG Tokens will be rewarded after issue is verified
  • Security issue: Up to 2000 HONG Tokens will be rewarded after issue is verified. Exact amount will depend on the severity of the issue caused.

What is required for a valid bug report

  • Release version and date of test
  • The condition to trigger the issue
  • Steps to reproduce the issue
  • (Optional) Any supplementary material that helps us to diagnose the issue

When will I get the bounty tokens from this scheme?

Now we keep the record of everyone’s participation. We will ask you for your wallet address in order to issue bounty tokens to your wallet address once the ICO starts.
