cloudflare image resize worker possible with hono?

I'm currently trying to build a image resizing route with hono which does the following:

But I'm currently failing at the last part:

  // Build a request that passes through request headers
  const imageRequest = new Request(imageURL, {
    headers: request.headers
  })

  // Returning fetch() with resizing options will pass through response with the resized image.
  return fetch(imageRequest, options)

Any idea how I could accomplish this with the hono api?
