Adding an admin to a cluster should be stored in the database and utilized to notify the admin if cluster credentials fail so that an admin may go in and adjust the credentials.
Maybe a Test Connection option. or a nightly job to check access.
Exp: scheduled job isn't working due to not being able to access the cluster.
