Requirement:

• Unity Engine

• ShaderLab

Sub-tasks:

• Engineering cameras to allow the navigator to view the plane. They can swap their view to different cameras.
  • How can this be done so that it's not disorienting? i.e switching from 360 to static camera
  • should we have one 360 or 2 180 cameras?
• Bill: tail boom nose cone camera.
  • This only provides frontal 180 optical signal, the back 180 may need to come from a different camera and be projected onto a second screen (Stitching in Unity?) #25
  • Alternatively, 360 camera can be mounted such that 2 lens faces left & right side of the wing pylon, this provide good coverage but leaves stitching mark to front & back
• build a rudimentary [[flight simulator]] with VR support to allow the team to test camera positions.

Hotfixes:

• Camera PoVs should be located at the centre of the spherical video screen #9
• Import vehicle model and ensure smooth model version upgrade pipeline #7
• Sync scaling of vehicle model, screen & HUD
• VLC UI uses Android-only text box for URL, should be swapped with desktop UI element(s) #8
