topic_subscribe authentication

Hello,

I would like to know when will be authentication for the topic_subscribe released.

I'm also wondering if it is possible to consume messages from a topic while rendering the web on arrival without looping (this way I can't make my shiny app respond to web clients while it's looping the mqtt connection). Only found examples of this with topic_subscribe and I can't use it because of authentication.

I hope I have explained myself good enough.

Is there any workaround for authentication? The package is great to subscribe messages but I cannot include user name and password. Thank you for creating the package.

The function mqtt_username_pw isn't working currently ?
