I'm expiriencing that same problme too. But it doesn't freeze if you dont load a quicksave the first couple of minutes of play. If you quicksave after 5 or 6 minutes and then load it works normaly..... |
A update on that issue. I've experimented with the few latest builds and it happens in all of them. Some mission after playing for couple of minutes and then quicksaving and loading it work, but in some missions like EX OP 60 after 5 or 10 minutes of playing and quicksaving and loading it freezes adter 5 or 6 seconds. |
Does this still happen? Can you post a full log? It might be that it's opening a file on the memory stick. Those files are not reopened with savestates. That is also affecting Valkyria Chronicles 2 when using DLC. -[Unknown] |

It's possible #4933 may have fixed this. But you'll need to create a new savestate - old savestates still won't work (even though they WILL load.) -[Unknown] |

Well, when I was testing the unkillable boss battle bug the other night, it had a BGM playing, and I was loading/saving states just fine, so yeah, I think it's resolved. |
MGS Peace Walker freezes with snd_thread_m error: " HLE\sceAtrac.cpp:582 avcodec_decode_audio4: Error decoding audio -1094995529 "
This happens ~1-2 seconds after quickloading a save state in a scene with background music playing. Installing either data packs (320 / 880 MB) causes this error, as opting out of data install keeps you error-free. The freeze occurs in both x86 and x64 versions of ppsspp. I'm running on Win7x64, ppsspp version 0.8.1-125-gf5da5f4.
You can quick load again and the game runs until the error occurs again.
Disabling Atrac3+ or all sound will not prevent the freeze.
I guess this is caused by Atrac trying to decode an audio file from memstick and loading a savestate causing this to fail somehow.
