I am not sure if this fits into the scope of PhantomCSS or whether it is time to think about it yet.
It would be greate to check UI screenshots against optical illusions.
For example Trello has this annoying Hermann-grid optical illusion when seeing "My Boards" on larger screens (see screenshot).
Why I think it is better to have such testing at stage of implemented software rathen than at stage of implemented design pictures? Because optical illusions may appear at screen resolutions that were not covered by design pictures, and little changes may be applied to already implemented software that may cause optical illusions.
