Related Work to SNSAPI

Note, all tools tend to solve a certain problem. SNSAPI may solve your problem but it may not be the best tool to do so. We compile the following list to give you thorough information of what tool/project you can consult. Those tools are of different flavours and target different audience.

• Yahoo Pipe
• FaWave. If you are normal user who simply want to perform some batch operations like updating statuses on several platforms, this browser plugin may suit you.
• umeng, it supports sharing content on different OSNs conveniently , working on Android and iOS platform. It's an investment project of Innovation Works（创新工场）。(non open-source)
• baidu_sso. Content sharing on different (Chinese) OSNs. Currently support Android and iOS. (non open-source)
• auth.io. OAuth aggregation service. Forthcoming.
• social-oauth. OAuth aggregation tool.
• Rebelmouse: related report
• HypeMarks: related report
• Tint. Aggregate several social networks and presents a single information flow on user sites.
• ThinkUp. An open-source web service that interface with multiple social networks and provide the users insights into their social network. Data collected and organised in local DB can be easily analysed further.
• SocialBa is a browser plugin for two-way sync of status update. It add checkbox below the status update bar of every platform and you can tick where to sync.

Note that this survey also makes the position of SNSAPI more clear. SNSAPI do not lose its value due to many similar works. On the contrary, they help SNSAPI stand out for some of its properties, e.g. flexibility.
