Joining with a lower version than 0.15 makes error/crash #10
Comments
It's just an exception, not a crash, and is handled correctly. Closing. |
pls add kick 0.14 out server and null uuid server it close |
@ishitatsuyuki I only have 0.14.0, I haven't been able to reproduce the crash, but I think it may be due to an even older version. There should be a security to block those connections |
@Guillaume351 It's already blocking that. Nothing wrong. |
@ishitatsuyuki So it's normal that it does an error and does not tell the client that try to connect that he is outdated ? And I think older versions make crash the server for null UUID (as @tigerza117 reported, and I had CRASH (not errors) because of that :/). It's impossible to check that the protocol is at least 81 and disconnect the older ones ? Thanks |
When I try to join with 0.14 I have some errors
Also, when some people joined, there were a crash for an Incorrect client.
There should be a security to not crash when the client is outdated
Thanks
