Basically, the binary is searching for providers.json file in your present working directory where you are running the binary.

A quick fix:

  • Download providers.json to your /go/bin/ directory
  • You can add this to a path or you can just go to /go/bin/ and run SubOver from there itself.
  • Make sure you have both SubOver and providers.json in the same directory.

Just copy the providers.json file into the folder you are testing from and it will work.

For example:

  • You are running SubOver from C:\users\{your-username}\subdomain_takeover
  • Download providers.json in that folder and run again.
