Currently the side user object is only on the boundary side set. There will be needs for a user object on all the interior sides. We can call this side user object as DG side user object because it requires the couplings of variables on both the upwind and downwind sides. One of the usage of this is to be used to evaluate block-wise balance (energy, particle, mass, etc.).
