SQS Long Polling?

Firstly, this looks great! Been leafing through the source code and its nice to see a well structured, neatly organised collection of concerns.

The objective of leafing through was to see if you had chosen to use SQS Long Polling which it appears that you havent. Was there a reason behind this decision?

Hey @karlfreeman. Tbh, we didn't know about SQS Long Polling, but it seems like a good idea. Thanks for highlighting it! I'd happily accept a PR (preferably with a config option), otherwise one of the @meducation team will probably do it at some point when we get chance.

@iHiD Ok thanks for the info. Might look into using propono in the future but until then a PR isn't likely. I'll leave this issue open and see what happens. Thanks!
