I didn't hear back from @georgejhunt today, so this evolves his:

Thanks to @jvonau's suggestions and others.

Testing is ongoing and many doc changes will be required.

Installed & tested successfully on Ubuntu Server 22.04 on RPi 4 using curl iiab.io/fast.txt | bash -s 3299

I just removed the "WIP" label in the subject line as this looks to be solid — thanks to @georgejhunt's work a week ago.

@georgejhunt @tim-moody @jvonau if you can review this for any fatal flaws or serious problems that would be helpful.

Most if not all IIAB docs have now been revised from 172.18.96.1 to 10.10.10.10 over the past 30min.

So this much-demanded (and long overdue!) UX modernization can begin shortly.

No doubt there will be a few hick-ups along the way — possibly even a few serious glitches that we overlooked — that we'll resolve in due course ✔️
