Documentation Improvement: The specification was interpreted incorrectly recently as the reader did not understand the use of painting for transcription. The reader viewed transcription as metadata, not part of a facsimile. The specification could be clearer as to this common situation.
Notes:
What does “painting” mean? Perhaps choose different vocabulary to denote “representation” or 1:1 relationship vs. other types of relationships
add sub-classes?
Perhaps rename painting as confusing, esp in Gallery use cases?
Decision:
Couldn't come up with a better motivation, so describe better and leave as painting (esp for backwards compatibility)
