Hi, I'm having trouble using the Color Calibrator plugin. I keep getting an error message, which I cannot interpret. The Color Chart Tool does seem to work. Any advice you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks!

I assume that you running this on Mac. Is it Intel or M1?

Looks that this is an issue when using ImageJ with Java 8. Looks that Java 8 cannot deal properly with JavaFX dependencies and cannot load classes that require JavaFX (like ColorCalibratorUIController above). Changing JRE to newer version, preferably Java 11 or even better 17 should make it work.

The image default launcher is a cause of issues with ijp-color plugins. There are instructions how to resolve it in the project wiki ImageJ Launcher Troubleshooting

We tried it on a PC and non M1 Mac. We installed Fiji rather than imageJ and got the plugins to work for us.
