Can this code be used to improve Magic Trackpad 2 stability?

@Mntz I just went through the thing and found something useful. I will see if I have sometime later (currently working on some USENIX paper things).

I've been having a devil of a time getting really good-feeling Magic Trackpad 2 support in various Linux distros. Is anyone aware of a particularly refined method or approach that works to get as close to macOS feel as possible in KDE or Gnome and Pantheon?
