The bug

If I quit the iOS app and then open it again, it keeps telling me I need to enable Background App Refresh. I click on the button that sends me to the app settings (in the iPhone Settings app), I see Background App Refresh is already enabled, I disable it, re-enable it, then go back to Immich and all the background backup settings are now all set once again.

Other people on Reddit have also experienced this problem.

I am also having this issue on app 1.105.0b157 and server 1.105.1 (running on TrueNAS Scale 24.04.0, Immich app), iOS 17.4.1. Please let me know if I can supply any information for debug.
