I am the initiator of the Initiator Project. I am a lifelong maker and I have been developing software and systems for over twenty five years. I started building online communities in the early nineties and have worked in various aspects of technology since.

In recent years, I have preferred programming in C# and strive to create clean, maintainable, cross-platform code that will run everywhere. I have also worked in many other programming languages such as C, Objective C, Java, Javascript, Python, PHP, and Prolog.

I also dabble in electronics and fabrication. I am interested in robotics, artificial intelligence, accessibility, augmented reality, fabrication, and community building.

I’m married with four kids (11f, 9f, 6m, 4m) and a dog (borador). I am an expert in bad dad jokes.

Hi, I'm Mitch. I'm a statistician who's worked with mixed model regression and meta-analyses. I work primarily with R.

I recently worked on a couple of hackathon projects locally -- predicting pet adoptions at high risk of returns, and showing that naxalone helps rescue overdose victims -- and that gave me a taste for this kind of project.

What factors did you have knowledge of for your pet adoption problem?
