Same-sized alternatives for 'Circled' icons

First: I really like these icons, and the non-ios7 icons are nicely minimalistic without being dogmatic.

Allt the circled ios7 icons have alternative icons with no circle and the icon itself being the same size. This is useful for mouse-overs like the close tab icon in the Chrome Browser (Windows).
Could the non-ios-7 cicular icons have similar alternative icons. For example for icons like 'ion-close-circled'.

Thanks for the suggestion. Right now I'm going to leave them as they are, and focus on building an Android-styled set. Perhaps in the future I can go back and add circles. In the meantime you could try creating a circle around the icons using CSS...?
