Finalization

• Proposals on rotation in validator sets
• Working on open questions for cryptographic sortition

Incentives

• planning for the report (to be finalized in September):
  • First draft of 4 first sections (Motivation, Problems with the lack of incentives, Outline of the 4 incentivization options found, Modeling of the Mana/token distribution) to be done in ~2 weeks
  • For later: 2 last sections (Cost of an attack, discussion)

Tangle dynamics

• Some updates in Tangle 2.0 paper
  • Implementation details, detailed example, expanded the related work section, polishing
• Testing” different distributions by defining translations, mirrorings and scalings.
• We’ll start writing a new tip explosion paper
• We are still writing and changing the text of the orphanage paper, it should be ready soon.
• Simulator
  • Start refactoring simulator code
  • Fix reference error in the "Robusness.. " paper
  • Reorder Scientific papers on Iota webpage

Networking

• Tip inflation: working on a summary document to compare strategies to limit tip pool size (TSC, time thresholds, etc.)
• Cost/delay analysis when two types of users coexist
  • Analysis based on paper "On the fair coexistence of loss- and delay-based flows")
