What would be the best approach here?

Generate the survey design object previously and allow users to download the survey design object with a function like read_survey_deisgn()? This would be efficient but it puts a larger burden on package maintainers
Expose a function like create_survey_deisgn() that will generate the survey design object object locally? Easier to maintain, but it is much more time consuming on the user end.

Any thoughts from the community would be much appreciated here. Cc @antrologos
