It could be useful to store (maybe in a dedicated project) a set of well-known configurations (e.g. a "barebone" GAL configuration, one with only local DAL interfaces, one with REST DAL API enabled, etc. )
It would be good to define them in a way they are "importable" easily and runnable (I think the OSGi standard has a standard way to define these collections - to be searched).
Note: at the moment we keep some basic eclipse run configurations - which are not portable but good enough - so we should not lose them.
