not sure if there is some sort of internal cache that isn't being updated, but when joining a new guild the selfbot doesn't respond.

This wouldn't happen to be the BetterDiscord server now would it?

This is a known issue with the JDA library. I don't know what the plans are to fix it, but I will update this issue when they are known.
