Client Installation
This page details the client side installation of jamJAR.
As the jamJAR process is modifying a LocalOnlyManifest, this needs to be defined within the ManagedInstalls.plist.
This only needs to be defined in advance. The file doesn't need to be created beforehand.
jamJAR's postflight should be installed within /usr/local/munki/ with ownership of root:wheel & a mode 755.
With jamJAR 2.0+ this needs to be installed alongside Munki 5.1+.
If the default Management Action.app is not required for notifications, then the replacement application needs to be deployed.
If this application is defined within jamJAR preferences but not deployed, then no notifications are sent when a user is logged in. The only notifications will be from Munki status over the loginwindow.
For some of the new workflows in jamJAR 2.0+ Notifier is required, as well as this being enabled by setting the datajar_notifier key to True in jamJAR's preferences.
