Thanks for catching this. It may take me awhile to get this resolved but in the meantime you can workaround the issue by whitelisting the GAM Creation project:
After a few minutes, you should be able to rerun the install or rerun "gam create project" and be allowed to accept the application. |
This workaround works for me, so long as your google admin session has not expired, or it throws an error when you login. |
This worked great for me. After GAM is all configured and working, does the entry need to stay in "trusted" for GAM to continue to work properly or can we remove the entry (just to clean everything up)? |
It can be removed. The trust is only necessary so you can create your own
API project, once that's done GAM uses your project, not that one.

You should be able to delete it, you can always add it back later if
necessary.

Unfortunately, I'm having trouble with this workaround. I added 297408095146-fug707qsjv4ikron0hugpevbrjhkmsk7.apps.googleusercontent.com to my trusted apps list almost 2 hours ago. No dice... Still getting error: "Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app |
This might be an overly obvious comment, but Google has not switched out your accounts, e.g. to your personal Gmail, and trying to sync with that instead of your group account. |
Forgive me, I'm not quite following your comment. Switched out my accounts? |
Well, it finally went through after 2+ hours of waiting. That's some pretty poor propagation time, Google. Yikes! |
Thanks for your patience everyone. I'm happy to report that this is now resolved and you should be able to authorize the GAM Creation project without issue. If you have this in your trusted list per below instructions you can safely remove it now. |
I have upgraded to the latest GAM release from https://git.io/gamreleases and I still have this issue.
I am typing the command as described in the GAM Wiki at https://github.com/jay0lee/gam/wiki
Full steps to reproduce the issue:
Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app
This app has not been verified yet by Google in order to use Google Sign In.
Expected outcome (what are you trying to do?):
Actual outcome (what errors or bad behavior do you see instead?):
