Version 1.1: Windows Taskbar gets excluded from the dimming area. Issue persists when run as Admin. #3

Sadly this is a known issue. I haven't yet figured out how to overlay over the taskbar but it would definitely involve a different means of dimming than overlays (e.g. changing gamma).

Alright. I'll try something. I'm also trying to implement something similar in python. thanks anyways.

This program with the exact same name does it. It still doesn't dim the cursor, menus, tooltips, etc., though. And Alt-Tab makes the whole screen bright.

Thanks for that link @pointyointment. Looks like we can play with the source AHK and try make Alt Tab work. Worth having a look for anyone else who ends up here 😀
