Hi,

your installed fw version is to hight to work with the installer.
(Even with forced-install in expert-mode)
Please "downgrade" to 1.1.00.18040 with the "Uninstaller" of PRS+ for 505
(It isn't actually a downgrade but installation of the supported US-Base-FW.)
http://code.google.com/p/prs-plus/downloads/detail?name=Uninstaller_505.exe&can=
2&q=

Then try to install PRS+ again.
BTW you might want also to try out the more recent (though also more then a
year old) version 2.0.1alpha. (Greatest benefit is that changes to the
userStyle CSS are applied immediately, while in 2.0.18 another book had to be
opened first)

Thanks Mark
I followed your instructions and installed the version 2.0.1alpha and after
fixing a format error via Windows all is working well.

Can I remove the PRSPInstaller directory now or is it required?

Many thanks Dave

Thx for reporting back!
You can safely remove the PRSInstaller directory now. Otherwise the installer
menu will pop up on every restart and disconnect from USB.

Just copy it back to install another update.
kind regards
Mark
