If I'm running late to meet a friend, want to let my fiancée know how far away
I am without a detailed message or know that a mate is likely to be in the same
area as me around lunchtime and want him to be able to find me, I would like to
be able to send minutely(?) updates over a chat protocol (such as XMPP), rather
than paying 20c a minute to do it via SMS etc. *Crucial* to me (ie I will not
use any application that doesn't offer this) is that *no* third party receive
the information about my location because of the application (I know that your
mobile network can track you already etc etc).

I know that The Guardian Project (https://guardianproject.info/) is already
working with droidtracker. It would be great to see something that sent my
location securely to one or several people via a secure chat client, such as
OtRChat.
