The Bluefruit LE MCU should be better utilized by handling communication for:

  • Diagnostic data
  • Trim settings for zero
  • Configuration of the belt speed and flywheel speed

This might be a good way to move settings from the blaster on EEPROM or FRAM into profiles on the connected device that just set all the configurations.
