It blinks but won't allow any inputs. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesn't help.

Not much to go on here, but I'm having the same issue. Fresh install of both Atom and terminal-plus. Installed node-gyp. Running Windows 8.1

$ apm -v
apm  1.12.5
npm  3.10.5
node 4.4.5
python 2.7.9
git 2.1.4
$ atom --version
Atom    : 1.11.2
Electron: 0.37.8
Chrome  : 49.0.2623.75
Node    : 5.10.0

OS is LMDE 2 "Betsy" 64-bit. I deleted the .atom directory and re-installed terminal-plus but still got same problem.

Same here. And with 225 open issues, and this one not being addressed I'm uninstalling and going elsewhere.

As already said - use platformio-ide-terminal

I've been using https://atom.io/packages/tokamak-terminal

On Atom 1.12 beta 4, the following in-editor terminals are currently broken: terminal-plus, term3, term2, term platformio-ide-terminal and tokamak-terminal. If there's a working terminal, that would be great.

I know that at least the platformio-ide-terminal devs are aware of the Atom 1.12 beta issues: platformio#85 (comment)
So hopefully they'll get it fixed pretty quickly and it'll trickle down to the rest of us.

I just decided to fork my own terminal (which probably is broken for Atom 1.12 beta as well) since I wasn't completely satisfied with any of the options. [/shameless self plug]

@Fred-Barclay Your fork is Most forks are also broken with two errors on 1.12 beta5. bus-stop/Termination#4

@steakknife it's an upstream bug. Currently waiting on the platformio devs. At least Atom 1.12 is still beta so this isn't entirely unexpected behavior when using a beta platform. 😉

@Fred-Barclay Arg! That limits the options on 1.12 beta5 quite a bit. 😢 But thanks for the info and proactive forking. 👍

@ziong's method worked for me on 1.12 beta5.

@steakknife Termination is now fixed!
