repost from the discord:
if you make a variation with nothing in it then save and load it again, the variation deletes itself but keeps the non-variation's probability to 50% and GRM doesnt know what to do and bugs out

the only fix is to open the file and change the probability from 0.5 to 1 with notepad

Would it be acceptable to automatically delete empty variations on save ?

Probably for the best, if you didn't set it up I dont think it really needs saved.
