As of 5th January 2024 the draw.io app for Quip is now end of life. If you have not already done so, please migrate away immediately. Either import the diagrams to Lucidchart, or use one of the projects here to edit diagrams and embed them by URL into Quip. |

As of 8th June 2022 the draw.io for Quip live app is in maintenance mode. From this point on:
At launch in 2018 there were 10 live apps, now there are 8. From our perspective, we need an ecosystem partner looking to actively grow and evolve their ecosystem, and we haven’t seen that to be the case here.
There is an alternative diagramming solution in Quip, Lucidchart, which Lucid claims can import draw.io diagrams.
As mentioned, we're only removing the ability to insert new diagrams, that means you don't have any limitations on what you've already created. Please actively look to switch away from draw.io, we will want to wind the app down further (but not in 2022).
We'll field questions about how to extract the data model, but not questions asking us to change our mind, offer a commercial version, complaining the Lucid imports our model badly, etc.
