The service is very slow because the serializers are badly optimized.

  • john-optimizations Add some prefetch and select relateds which greatly reduces the number of queries.
  • We should also remove any unnecessary data from the calls.
  • We should ensure that there are no unnecessary calls. For example, flag coordinates should only be pulled once. Same with territory paths.
  • There are a few methods on nation state which should be de-normalized because they are slow.
