There are a variety of dictionary apps that run on iOS and are compatible with files produced by HawDict.

Dicty

Dicty is a free dictionary app on iOS that supports StarDict dictionaries.

Dicty on the App Store Free

For Dicty you'll want to use the StarDict-formatted files, ie. all of the files ending with .StarDict.ifo, .StarDict.dict, .StarDict.idx, and .StarDict.syn.

Dicty Dictionary Setup

  1. Install Dicty onto your iOS device.
  2. Connect your device to iTunes.
  3. Use iTunes File Sharing to copy the StarDict-formatted files to your device.
  4. Start Dicty.
  5. The app should automatically index the new dictionaries.
