My first reaction to this review below was to blame the reviewer for being lazy and not reading.

But honestly, this could be an area we need to improve the JED's usability? That "J3" box is tiny and unclear.

Could we use clearer icons / labels for Joomla 3 and Joomla 4 compatibility?

Hi Steve,
As JED 4 is not currently live, your comments cannot be an issue. We see that you raised this issue in joomla/jed-issues and it has been closed, please be aware that your suggestion has been taken on board but does not warrant an issue in jed4 as jed4 is currently not public.

@mfleeson JED 4 is a public project, and any contribution around possible improvements can be made via an issue as there is no other public forum or track for collaborate besides here.

So I think @stevejburge did the right thing to log the issue here, as JED3 no longer receives any development. All suggestions towards improvement must be tracked and logged here towards the JED4 development.

So instead of just closing the issues, which in itself is okay, we shall do well to tag them for easy retrieval later when we come to this point of the new JED4's front-end design.
