scoped map with functions

Currently my expression is: group(groupname)

I created a scope map like this:

class MyScope {
	private readonly groups:string[] | null;
	private readonly localScope:Map<String, any>;
	constructor (groups:string[] | null) {
		this.groups = groups;
		this.localScope = new Map();
		(this.group as any).rawArgs = true;
	}

	private group(args:math.MathNode[], math:any, scope:MyScope) {
		console.log(args);
		let group:string|null = args.length > 0 ? args[0].toString() : null;
		if(!group) return false;
		if(!this.groups) return false;
		group = group.toLowerCase();
		for(const g of this.groups) {
			if(g.toLowerCase() === group) return true;
		}
		return false;
	}

	get (key:string) {
   		console.log(key); // get called with "group"
   		switch(key) {
			case 'group': return this.group;
		}
		return this.localScope.get(key);
 	}

	set (key:string, value:any) {
		switch(key) {
			case 'group': throw new Error('can not set group function');
		}
		return this.localScope.set(key, value)
	}

	has (key:string) {
    		switch(key) {
			case 'group': return true;
		}
		return this.localScope.has(key);
 	}

	keys () {
		return new Set(['group', ...this.localScope.keys()])
	}
}

But group never gets called. Do i something wrong?

@lublak can you also share how you use this class MyScope, so we can reproduce the issue you have?
