PITCHRANKR

This project was done using Python 3.6 and Flask.

DESCRIPTION

This is a Python-Flask Application that allows users to create one minute pitch. You only have 60 seconds to impress someone. 1 minute can make or break you. The users will submit their one minute pitches and other users will vote on them and leave comments to give their feedback on them.

User Story

  • Users can see the pitches other people have posted.

  • Users can svote on the pitch they liked and give it a downvote or upvote.

  • Users can sign in to leave a comment.

  • Users can register on the website.

  • Users can receive a welcoming email once they sign up.

  • Users can view the pitches they have created in their profile page..

  • Users can comment on the different pitches and leave feedback.

  • Users can submit a pitch in any category.

  • Users can view the different categories.

Prerequisites

To work with PITCHRANKR App you need to have some few prerequisites.

  • Python3.6

  • pip

  • Flask

  • pyperclip

  • Code/text editor

  • Terminal

SETUP/INSTALLATION.

To work With News Trend App

  1. You will need Internet connection.

  2. You will also need python installed and knowledge of python

  3. To get to use News Trend first you need to get to the News Trend repository.

  1. From there you can access News Trend App.

  2. Clone the project.

  3. Once you done with cloning and project is on your device.

  4. get into project folder (cd into project).

  5. On your bash terminal Run the command:-

  $ chmod +x start.sh
  $ ./start.sh

OR run:

  • $ python3.6 run.py runserver
